FIRST AID/CPR
FIRST AID & CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR)
The First Aid Course is approved by St. John Ambulance. The First Aid and CPR program is recognized under the Canada Labour Code regulations and meets the requirements of the National Occupational Health & Safety regulations applied to Federal government agencies.
Instruction: Instruction presentation, skills demonstration and practice, scenarios, exercises and class discussion with question and answer.
You as the learner will learn to think, react and improvise in emergency situations. Participants will learn in a fun and interactive learning environment. The instruction will allow you to learn simple techniques for First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). The learner will learn safety and healthy lifestyle choices which are crucial to illness and injury prevention.
Instructors individualize the training and provide continuous feedback which increases skill retention so that participants are more likely to feel prepared to apply skills in an emergency situation.
Please note that all First Aid Courses come complete with a CPR Level C (basic rescue) certificate. We offer a full range of First Aid and CPR courses.
